Great Site! Recognise a few! I'm from class of 76 and am still in touch with my highschool buddies Linda Spinks,Helen Vanderbreggen and Sue Bradford. Debbie, Bill and Scott are all doing well with careers and families and are still in close proximity to Mississauga. Erindale was (and is) a great school. Have seen the growth. My son graduated from Erindale in 2000..My daughter will be going to highschool next year. Don't feel this old yet. Have seen the odd person around which is always great to chat. I ended up going back to college in 96 for career change and am now working for major airline and having fun! It would be great to hear from other 76/77 grads.

Attended Erindale for only 1 year (1968 -1969) but I'll always remember the good times and the many friends. New school for a grade 9er was good news because the pressure was off for initiations and everyone was as lost as I was.

Hi to all out there from classes of '77/'78. I am very impressed with the web site and enjoying catching up on what everyone is doing with their lives. I have been living in various parts of Ontario and Alberta for the past 20 odd years teaching Math and computer Science. Currently, I have settled in Waterloo, Ontario teaching Math at Conestoga College in Kitchener. Married in 1982 to my husband Mike (met at Waterloo in 1979) and have three children ages 9, 11 and 15 (boy,boy,girl). On a late night search through the WEB, I came across this page. In the class of 1978, it had a question of my whereabouts. Yes I did disappear to California (Davis not Berkely) to do graduate studies. After my MSc in Plant Genetics in 1984, I continued in molecular biology, obtaining my PhD from the University of Southern California in 1990. In 1990, I joined Yale University where I converted from a career track in protein structure/gene expression to one of neuroscience. Since 1994, I have been focusing on Parkinson's disease, a pursuit I undertook while at Columbia University in NY. Since 1999, I have been a professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Southern California, continuing to carry out research in the Molecular aspects of Parkinson's disease. Basically the lab is focusing on new technology to promote repair and replacement of cells that die in Parkinson's disease (the disease of Michael J. Fox and the Pope). I did get married in 1985 to Giselle Petzinger who is from California and also a professor with me, sharing our lab as well as running the clinic in Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders here at USC.

I try to get back to Mississauga twice a year and want our kids (Nicolaus age 3 and Pascal age 2) to get a strong influx of Canadiana!
